Due to the length of our stay (five days) we asked the front desk if we could be provided with a min-refridge. Our room was on the HWY-101 side, but we only experienced minimal noise from the freeway. All of the furnishings, except for the tv, were fairly new.

Our room looked liked it was recently renovated. My partner and I stay at this hotel for about five days in one of the non-smoking rooms on the second floor and near the fitness room.

But if you want a clean, affordable, and convenient place to stay, I would highly recommend the Best Western Grosvenor Hotel. The free shuttle made it very easy to go back & forth the airport to catch the Bart Transportation into the city.If you're the type that expects a lot from a hotel, this is NOT the place for you. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to go to San Francisco who prefers a little quieter hotel without all the crowds. She gave us a great tip of leaving our luggage at the hotel while we went back to the airport to rent our car. Loreen, the front desk clerk at check out was very nice and helpful. Needless to say we had a wonderful stay here from beginning until the end. The young man in charge of the breakfast, Danny, was especially nice and very friendly. The next morning we had a great breakfast. The room was very nice, as well as the entire hotel. It was just what we needed after a long day. Not only was it still open, but Rosa, the nice and accommodating bar server said it was still Happy Hour! We enjoyed a nice glass of wine and some delicious appetizers for a great price. We asked if they had a bar with food, and they said it was right off the lobby and open until 12PM. It was very refreshing and a nice touch at that hour. The hotel lobby had a nice container of cold lemon water waiting. This hotel not only had those two qualifications, but much more! After arriving at the hotel about 11:15PM, we were tired and a little hungry after travelling all day. I also wanted a free breakfast at the hotel. I wanted a hotel near the airport with free shuttle service, as we were arriving on a late night flight. My husband & I were recently visiting San Francisco for a couple of days before attending our niece's wedding about an hour away from there.
